COMMISSIONER OF IRISH POLICE

Eamon Broy was a member of the Secret Service arm of the British administration in Ireland but his loyalty lay with Irish nationalism and he regularly supplied revolutionary Michael Collins with much valuable information. Following the Anglo-Irish Treaty he served in the Irish police force before being appointed its commissioner in March, 1933.
